I'm sorry it has taken me so long to get this out, but I wanted to be as sure as I could about what I see. I was looking at what the angel said to John about the Beast from the sea, and I came to realize that I was ignoring an important part of the statement the angel makes, because I didn't want to go there! Once I accepted it, I realized I had to go back to Daniel because I knew it led to the same conclusion there also. This is one of those things that is hard to believe or imagine. It is something you would expect in a sci-fi movie. Unfortunately, it isn't sci-fi and in the very near future, it will be sci-fact.
This is a little long, but it took every bit to explain this Beast. Every time I re-read it, I add some; therefore I am going to send it as it is, least it grow any larger. Please forgive any blatant typos.
This could change how we look at the 7 heads! As I am writing this, I'm actually not yet sure, but I am sure that is doesn't change the fact that Islam is a very important part of this Beast from the sea, and it is rising now, and quickly.
Here we go:
Rather than write out the entire verses that we have already seen, I am going to pull the statements from the verses. I will put the reference so you can read them for yourself.
The things the angel said about the:
Rev 13:1-4:Beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns, and seven heads, and on his horns ten diadems:
First, the above description, is the Beast in full transition right down to the toes of the metal man. This Beast will not reach this full phase until the middle of the last 7 years.
Statements from verse:
whole earth wondered (admired) after the beast- wonder= to admire: admire, have in admiration, marvel, wonder
they worshipped the dragon (Satan), because he gave his authority unto the beast
they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? And who is able to war with him?
This is quite a response from the people, for this leader? Not only do they admire, but they worship this leader. People really admire Obama, but I can't actually say I have seen anyone WORSHIP him. We are talking about a truly religious act, to worship, as divine.
and not just those in his nation or ideology or common group, but pretty much all who see the Beast. Notice the people also believe he is unbeatable! There is another divine type, the dragon that they also worship, who gives great power and authority to this Beast.
Rev 17:7-8 = an angel says to John, I will tell thee the mystery of the beast with seven heads and ten horns.
the beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, (Abyss)
they that dwell on the earth, whose names were not written in the book of life, shall marvel when they behold (see) the beast that was, and is not, and shall come.
Understand, the unsaved (name not in Book of Life) will admire, worship and be deceived by this Beast. These people will very likely receive his "mark."
Also notice the angel said there was a "mystery" associated with this Beast.
First I checked the Greek for bottomless pit, found it was:
also called the Abyss, the place where fallen angels, demons and the spirits of the unsaved dead are held. It is a prison for the damned.
Then I realized that the was, and is not, and shall come meant that he "was" in power, he was then sent to the Abyss so he "is not" but he is going to be let out and return and "shall come." The inmates aren't able to do much in prison.
ALSO, this is almost the same wording that speaks about the Lord Jesus in the beginning of Revelations.
It says:
Rev 1:4: from Him which is, and which was, and which is to come;
Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Rev_1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Notice: Jesus has the keys to the Abyss or bottomless pit.
Rev_2:8 These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
Do you see who the Beast is being portrayed as? This mystery statement, was, and is not, and shall come about the Beast, is not a random statement. It is designed to portray him as divine.
Alright, can we confirm that beings will be let out of the Abyss? Yes:
Rev_9:1-3 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star (angel) fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. (Jesus gave him the key) And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And they (the smoke) had a king over them, the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue, Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue name Apollyon.
This smoke is a living swarm, that is why John calls the smoke THEY when he sees, that what he thought was smoke, actually responds to an angelic leader, who also came out of the Abyss with them. This swarm, if you remember, is a swarm of locust like creatures. They are alien looking and they cry their leaders name continually!
I still wanted to be sure that this sea Beast was a supernatural fallen angel. I remembered some things from Daniel, so I went back to look. Remember, Daniel is the book where we have the most in-depth information about this anti-Christ ruler to come in the last days; so, I went back to see what he said of this ruler.
Look what is in Daniel about this Beast leader! For sake of ease, I am using modern English translations that agree with King James and American Standard. Much easier to understand and we don't have to do word studies.
Remember, Daniel sees this leader, of the 4th terrible beast with 10 horns, which appears as a smaller horn and actually uproots 3 horns and takes over the whole of the 10 horns. From this point on, Daniel calls him the little horn. The little horn is leader of Beast from the sea.
Dan 7:7-8 fourth beast appeared, It was powerful, horrible, terrifying, crushed its victims, trampled on them. Unlike the other beasts, it had ten horns. A little horn coming up among the others, It tore out three of the horns that were already there. This horn had human eyes and a mouth that was boasting proudly.
We know that all 10 of these horns are human kings. But in this vision, only the little horn shows human features, the others must appear simply as the horn of an animal. So, what does that mean? The human eyes mean that a human is present. It probably indicates much more, but let's stop there. As for his boasting mouth, these fallen angels speak as if they are gods, as does this little horn; when he chides his enemies, he addresses God Almighty, Jesus, and the angels. Remember, this little horn is the one who claims that: he was, and is not, and shall come, speaking as a god!
The little horn becomes the ruler over the 10 horns by conquest, and they accept him and follow him.
This is what Daniel is told about the 4th beast and this little horn:
Dan 7:23-25= "The fourth beast is a fourth empire different from all other empires. Quite a statement.
It will crush the whole earth and trample it down.
The ten horns are ten kings who will rule that empire.
Then another king will appear; he will be very different from others. Again, he isn't anything like the other kings.
He will speak against the Supreme God and oppress God's people. Here is that mouth!
He will try to change their religious laws and festivals, and God's people will be under his power for three and a half years.
Now watch this, Daniel sees this vision about the little horn:
Dan 8:9-12: a little horn, whose power extended toward the south, east, and the Promised Land (Israel).
It grew strong enough to attack the army of heaven, (army of angels)!
even attack the stars themselves, (particular ruling angels, lower in strength and power than he)!
and it threw some of them to the ground and trampled on them. (won in a physical fight)
It even defied the Prince of the heavenly army, (Jesus is the Prince of the Heavenly Host, army)
It stopped the daily sacrifices offered to Him (Jesus), and ruined His place of worship
People sinned there (place of worship) instead of offering the proper daily sacrifices, prayers, offerings, etc.
and God's true religion was thrown to the ground. (the religious lies of this little horn are believed and exalted above the truth of God's Word)
The horn was successful in everything it did. (quite a track record for any king today)
Notice that everything above in blue any human can do, but what human in his own power can overtake angels and cast them to earth in combat, and also be successful in everything until God stops him? The answer is none!
Many leaders of other empires were very successful but someone stronger always came along and overthrew them, that is until Islam. Islam moved into the areas of the empires, of the book of Daniel, and 1300 plus years later, they are still there and growing in numbers and power. They are also gaining more territory. They already have quite a record of success.
This last leader is even able to throw down angels from Heaven. Who is like him, who can make war with him?
Daniel was also told:
Dan 8:23-25= there will be a stubborn, vicious, and deceitful king
He will grow strong---but not by his own power.
He will cause terrible destruction and be successful in everything he does.
He will bring destruction on powerful men and on God's own people.
Because he is cunning, he will succeed in his deceitful ways.
He will be proud of himself and destroy many people without warning.
He will even defy the greatest King of all, Jesus
but he will be destroyed without the use of any human power. By Jesus Himself!
Here is the mystery, about this very different Beast, that is hidden behind the statement, that he was, is not, and is to come and the fact that he comes from the Abyss.
This little horn is a dual being. He is a combination of a human being and the fallen angel from the Abyss! He, the human will be a military type of warrior who becomes Head King of the 10 king empire. This dual being takes control of the 10 kings half way into the 7 years.
While that all sinks in:
Remember the metal man, look at this amazing statement.
Dan 2:42-43: And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly weak.
And whereas thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men;
but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron does not mingle with clay. Dual composition.
This is saying that the iron will mix with the clay, but they won't stick together (cleave). That is because the iron and clay are two completely different substances naturally speaking! Apply that to the Beast, the two substances are human and angel. Since they won't stick together, the empire has a weakness. Even still, remember, this last king will be successful in all that he does, so it doesn't hinder him from being pretty successful.
To further clarify, the scripture says: They will mingle with the seed of men.
According to Genesis, man is made of the dirt of the earth, add moisture to mold and you have clay. We are clay! The iron I suspect is the fallen angels. They, the iron angels, mingle again with the clay, seed of men.
This could be mingle by possession or inter-marriage!
Take a look at how this one verse is translated in new modern versions.
First, an old version:
(ASV) And whereas thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men; but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron doth not mingle with clay.
Now, modern versions:
(ESV) As you saw the iron mixed with soft clay, so they will mix with one another in marriage, but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay.
(GNB) You also saw that the iron was mixed with the clay. This means that the rulers of that empire will try to unite their families by intermarriage, but they will not be able to, any more than iron can mix with clay.
(GW) As you saw, iron was mixed with clay. So the two parts of the kingdom will mix by intermarrying, but they will not hold together any more than iron can mix with clay.
The modern versions all translate the mingle together with seed of men as a marriage!
Remember Jesus said, "And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, even so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man." Luke 17:26
What came to pass in Noah's day:
Gen 6:1-5:
And it came about that men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them.
The sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were good, and they took wives for themselves from all those whom they chose.
The giants were in the earth in those days, and even afterwards when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore to them; (the daughters of men bore children to the angels who became giants).
they were heroes which existed from ancient time, the men of name.
And Jehovah saw that the evil of man was great on the earth, and every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the day long. Literal Translation Version
Let's look at one of the above verses in old and modern versions.
Genesis 6:4
Old Versions:
(ASV) The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them: the same were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown.
(KJV) There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Modern Version:
(CEV) The children of the supernatural beings who had married these women became famous heroes and warriors. They were called Nephilim and lived on the earth at that time and even later.
(DRB) Now giants were upon the earth in those days. For after the sons of God went in to the daughters of men, and they brought forth children, these are the mighty men of old, men of renown.
(GNB) In those days, and even later, there were giants on the earth who were descendants of human women and the heavenly beings. They were the great heroes and famous men of long ago.
The mingling of the clay and iron of the empire is humans mingling with fallen angels in marriage, possession or both. An empire DIVERSE from all others before it. The leader, DIVERSE from all the other leaders. Who is like unto the beast? And who is able to war with him?
This Beast empire has two supernatural beings as part of its leadership.
This little horn, the Beast of the sea is a dual being, human and fallen angel from the Abyss. He will be aided by the Dragon!
It seems likely, that besides the possession that creates this Beast, other fallen angels will actually join in a marriage union with the empire's women in order to try to make the empire very strong.
This mingling mess makes it all hit the fan again! Only this time, it won't bring a flood, it will bring the 7 trumpets and the 7 bowls of judgment. Then the war of Armageddon will finish the job!
Now that we know that we have a supernatural Beast from the sea, aided by a supernatural Dragon, we can look at the rest of the puzzle and look again at the 7 heads. It is now uncertain whether the 7 heads are human kings or angelic ones; since the 8th king is an angel from the Abyss!
You know, it is possible that it doesn't even matter who or what the earlier heads were, as long as we understand the "mystery" of the Beast, how that he was, is not, but is to come, and exactly how he comes, in iron and clay mixed!
At this point, I found myself wondering if the people of America would fall for this leader so hard that the daughters would join a demon in marriage? And I have to tell you that they would. Right now, our children are being encouraged to, and taught that it is perfectly normal, to have sexual relations with anyone of any sex or any combination thereof. They are even offering sex with animals on college campuses as perfectly acceptable. Sexual robots are the next thing to emerge. So a jump to a demon isn't so hard to imagine! Now you truly have, as it was in the days of Noah, and Sodom and Gomorrah rolled into one! And it all fits right in with our progressive education system. Congratulations progressives.
Do you know that the Aramaic word for "mingle" is "arab." This is just one of little oddities that God has woven into His language for His Word.
Boy what a challenge I picked, pray for me because I certainly bit off a rather large bite!
